Procrastination.

Exams are on the horizon. The last of coursework is being handed in this friday. I have three days left of school, including when we dress up and run riot for the last day. I plan to glitter-bomb everything in sight whilst dressed as a Leprechan. Can't wait.

When I write it like that it all sounds so melodramatic, but in my somewhat small shoes, it is all rather a big ordeal. Excitememnt has morphed into anxiety, and back into eager jitters for the unknown. I've been distracting myself by burying my head in music, learning reems of lyrics through turquoise tint glasses, and dabbiling as always on my (conveniently but not planned same shade of turquoise) soprano uke. Despite my ever-hardening fingertips, the cheesewire strings of my dear Dakota slice my fingers open far too frequently. I am however now fully adapted to tuning her by ear. Well, after all, it is only GDGBD..

So whilst the nylon strings of Savannah are frequently creating resonance in her plywood body, my vocal chords also sing out as descretely as possible, in fear of being heard by beings through my bedroom floor. Unknown to my parents, I have been secretly doing one-off performantces in various places and small events around my hometown, mainily taking Electra with me (she has the advantage of being an electro-acousic so where amplifyers are available i can take full advantage). The most popular of which being my cover of Hey Soul Sister where I transposed it down a semitone so it was within my range in my diseased state. Common colds suck.

I am booked into Newday, and have a yearning for swinging among tree-tops. Albie needs a bath, so i shall sign off. Vale.

All in Half a Years work.

Again, I forgot the existence of my blog. Whoops. Much has happened. Albie is larger, I have a website, and more examinations have come and past. The end of my compulsary Education is nigh. What scares the hell out of me (appart from re-creations of living specimens) is the fact that I chose to throw myself into the wider world. Moving out of a village school to the town was hard enough, now it's the full blown city! And this time I will know even less people. Just one. I'll have to make friends or something... So, I spoke of Newday before. I shall hopefully be booking in this year extremely soon. I revel in the memories of the atmosphere of it. The worship, the people, and the spiritual feeling afterwards. It's just.. Magnificent. Hopefully I shall not leave it so long next time, so that I don't blather on meaninglessly. S'laters. URL to my online portfolio - Www.wix.com/pinchypinch/portfolio

Albi(e)

Two posts ago i spoke of my longing to own a tortoise. Well, i no longer need to long, as i now have one! A baby hermanns tortoise. Named Albie, which i generally spell Abli. Albi is more likely to be a girl, so Mo is more appropriate, but Albi stuck. So.. yeah. And, thats him above in comparison to my fatehr's set of keys. He's grown a tidbit since then as that picture was taken when i first got him in Septemberish, but only a tidbit.
[insert a good way to end the blog here].

28/09/11. Inventive title, right?

Babble. Thats what i'm going to do. Babble at you.

So, who else saw Ronan Parke's cover of "what makes you beautiful"? pretty damn good right? Yeah.. before he got all famous from Britains Got Talent I half knew that kid. He used to go to the same singing school as me. Used to wait to go into our lessons together. If i was in my lesson when he was across the hall in his, you could hear him belting his little lungs out over the rest of the racket.

In other news, today it was hotter than it was for the majority of the summer. Had to waste it baking in a classroom allong with 29 other roasting pupils. Funfun. Yesterday i also received a plesant email from LOVEFiLM informing me that they were gining me a gift code for £15 on Amazon.com! I spent it within half an hour on 8 CD's. You'd be supprised how thrifty i am.

I really don't have anything further to say, appart from the rumour of the existance of my youtube channel is spreading throught my school like wildfire. I'm either screwed, or about to get many more subscribers.

Ten Months Later. Ish.

Well. Haven't I been Busy.

I've changed. For the better. Much has happened. I exhibited my photography, compleated two full GCSE's and not fail miserably in them, and completed at least the first half of others. Christmas was actually much beter than anticipated, despite the absence of a countdown callender.

Summer has also been and gone. I went to Newday 2011, a christian festival at the norfolk showground and had one of the best weeks of my life, and then after that went to Antalia on the south coast of Turkey for 10 days. Far too hot for me but it was still rather pleasant meeting new people and trying new foods etc, but most of all going PARASAILING! I want to take up Paramotoring now. Alas, i do not live near enough to large amounts of water for parasailing my paramotoring i can do when i come across a large sum of money.

In more recent news, i came extremely close to owning a Tortoise. My parents led me to believe i could have one until they found out that it couldnt jsut live outside all the time. I was most displeased. I'm still working on it though. I thought of names and everything. I would mostly like a male and name it Albert or 'Albie' for a nickname, but if it turned out to be female i would simple go with Mo.

I shall keep this post short and sweet despite the large period of time i should have made up for with postings on this blog, but i also just started up a new blog for purely my phtogoraphy-ness. Read it. Notice how i care for gramatical errors in that one. Not that anyone reads this blog but hey. I'm being optimistic. Pinch outt.

The Countdown to Christmas.

So its what.. 9 Days until the awaited Christmas of 2010? But i am saddend in the fact that i for one am nt that exited. Well, i am, just, not extremely.

One factor i blame for this is my mothers refusal to purchase both my brother and i a chocolate countdown calendar. I know FULL WELL that they can cost a mesely £2, but her exuse is that we are 'too old' for them. I HAVE FRIENDS BOTH MY AGE AND OLDER WITH THEM, WHY SHOULD WE MISS OUT? Gaaaaaah.

I also know what my parents have got me. An Electric-Acoustic Ukulele. A 'Mahalo' (the make) soprano (the size) with a black finish to be precise. They even told me that they have 'hidden' it under their bed. Wheres the fun in that when i know where to find it?

The added bonus of christmas this year is that i had a debit card, meaning i could safely purchase my gifts for my family feeling safe in the knowlage that if i were to be mugged, at least all they could get out of me is a few coppers and a peice of plastic. I found my brother extremely difficult to buy a gift for, as teenage adolecants are. I resorted to a half price silk tie he could wear for sixth form. He only has one tatty one he wears constantly, the vagabond.

Well, i must leave my writing to tend to my father, to whom is currently crippled and on the living room floor, but that is a moan for another day. Ciao.

Oh my Life.. :')

Today i went on an art photography trip.
It seems that even the simplest of things can be beautiful, wonderful, fasinating and happy. Even the smallest of gestures can stay in your thoughts for hours on end, and the tinyest of actions can start a revelation. Happieness is within grasp now..
